info from the files of Carol Gunther; Ron Nock; and Robin Swafford
e-mail from Carol Gunter. . ."Our information comes from a ledger book on a partial genealogy of the Wheeler Family collected from records made by Ebenezer Wheeler and from other reliable sources, written by Samuel Miller Wheeler,
which was Carol Gunter's Great-grandfather. He states that "This writing met with many unexpected difficulties and acknowledged it to be quite imperfect, but hopes that someone in the future may find it a fruitful source of research and this very humble beginning may be a nucleus to something more extensive and reliable in the future".

5th Jan 1818 John Wheeler was born the son of Ebenezer Wheeler and wife Joanna Miller in Ohio.
15 June 1821 Catherine Inlow was born.
21 Oct 1841 John Wheeler and Catherine Inlow were married.
12 Aug 1858 John Wheeler died. age 40
11 April 1871 Catherine Inlow Wheeler died age 50
