He owned a substantial
plantation about 4 miles above Elizabeth City at the mouth of Sawyer's Creek.
During the
Culpepper Rebellion [1677] he was the custodian of Thomas Miller, collector of customs.
William Jennings was born about 1626
about 1648 he married Mary ? (think we have located her last name, but still
working on that) .
in 1635 William Jennings arrived in the "colonies" (Virginia at
the time).
