Hello. I am not sure whether you would want this info�.I have two additional children to add for John Mitchell and Winifred Saunders, siblings to James Saunders Mitchell.

My gggggrandfather was John Pipkin Mitchell who was born about 1810 near Winton, (Bertie Co.) which is written by my gggrandmother Elizabeth �Bessie� Estes, daughter of Kate Yates Mitchell, and granddaughter of John Pipkin Mitchell and Sarah Goodloe Yates. He died in 1868 and is buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Grenada , Grenada County , Ms. of which I have pictures and records. John Pipkin Mitchell migrated to Ms about 1830s. He married Sarah there in 1854. In his household was John P. Nowell who also married Sarah after John�s death. John P. Nowell�s parents were William Nowell and Mary Ann Mitchell of Hertford County, N.C. Mary Ann also had Nancy Emily and William Henry Nowell. Mary Ann was John Pipkin Mitchell�s sister.

A fellow researcher Mary Tyler (rlmltyler@att.net) has extensively researched the Nowell family. She told me about a court document for 1831 in which John P. Mitchell gave Power of Attorney to a James ? Mitchell, (most likely since he was traveling to Ms). She also believes that Mary Ann Mitchell named two of her children after siblings�John P. Nowell for John Pipkin Mitchell and Nancy Emily Nowell for Nancy Mitchell who married Abraham Thomas.

Other names my grandmother wrote down under John Pipkin Mitchell�s info was John Mitchell 1, James S. Mitchell 2, James W Mitchell 3 (Cousin Wash), Hon. Dr. Wayland Mitchell 4 �
