Christmas Day 1918?

"It was a quiet day that Christmas afternoon.  For the picture  we all lined up in front of the trench. On Christmas Eve some German soldiers had started singing Christmas carols in their trench and the American soldiers in our trench soon joined in singing the same tunes in English - then a temporary truce was called for Christmas Day"
